TRAVELING IN EUROPE?????????????!?
I plan to go to Europe next month in mid October until mid November and reasons why because eastern Europe is cheaper for sure plus in the off season is cheaper and the weather is cooler and I’m flying into Prague because its the cheapest place to fly into. How much are the cheapest train tickets to travel in eastern to countries like Poland,Austria,Hungary,Romania and last I’m want to go to Athens Greece. Is it expensive? Is the bus cheaper and better? How long does it take? Some people say eastern Europe is dangerous to travel by train and some say its safer than being in American I’ll be ok. Please someone with experience and or someone from there eastern Europe please answer
I’m not from eastern Europe so sorry not to much help there. but we did have USA friends visit all around Europe a few years ago.. he’s a Cuban american and she’s a Peruvian american so are not Caucasian.. sadly they had major problems in Poland ,, went into a suburbs to find an old friend, taxi driver let them off, a gang of men shouted racist comments and wanted to beat them up, luckily the taxi driver who was down the street saw the problem in his rear view mirror , slammed the car into reverse, sped backwards to them, jumped out the car and got a baseball bat out of the boot and bravely went swinging for the gang, who fortunately all ran off… our friends beat a hasty retreat with the brave taxi driver and it’s been amazing to sadly hear since that stories of racism still abound a lot in Poland… Don’t know about rest of east europe… they were so shaken they didn;t complete the rest of their trip to several other eastern european countries.
LOTS of people in Europe AREN’T racist.. . but Do take care… wherever you go. I hope that your experiences are FAR better than those of our friends
