what kind of clothes should we take to europe next month for a trip?
My wife and I will be traveling to europe on feb 19th and will comeback on march 10th. We don’t know what shold we take, is it very very cold? we will be traveling from one place to another so we don’t want to carry much baggage… any help?
Depends where you are going. UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden etc, I would advise a hat, scarf, gloves, warm coat, warm clothing in general and an umbrella because it’s going to be wet and cold.. If you’re going to southern Europe-Italy, Cyprus, Greece etc., then take clothing that can be layered as it’s warmer there but still chilly in the morning and evening.
A friend of mine went to Southern Ireland in February of last year, she took 3 pairs of jeans, 2 sweaters, 2 blouses, 1 casual/smart outfit and one semi formal outfit, long johns, hat, scarf, quilted jacket and lots of pairs of socks. She said she had never been so cold in her life and often wore 2 pairs of socks as well as the long johns under jeans. It does depend on where you are from too, if you are in a warm sunny place right now then you will need to wrap up warmly. If you are living in a wintry place, then take whatever you normally wear and prepare for rain. I’m from UK and when it rains it can soak you through to the skin.
