Europe Travel Fashion
i need help designing a fashion forward room!?? ten points to best answer!!!?

i am looking forward to becoming a fashion designer when i get older.
and i want a room that reflects that.
eventually when i become old enough.. i want to travel to europe [rome, france, london etc] NYC and Los Angeles.

so i want to draw from each one of those cities.
and i want a sketch desk, sewing machine, manican etc to put in my room.

my main problem is is that my room is 10 by10
but i have a 2 by ten closet :)
so any ideas!?

color options etc would be great!

One of my favorite designers is Dorthy Draper… she was an interior designer that was influenced by fashion..Two books that you might be interested in are:

Also might want to try these books..they are good for addressing small space issues..which is common in certain cities like NYC and others:

No one can really say what to do becuase we dont know what your space looks like. It sounds like ( since your room is small) is storage and creative ideas to put ion the desk, sewing maching and maniquinn without crowding your room. Which is why I suggested the “space” books above. They will give you at least some ideas on where to put things within your space and budget….
The reason I suggested Dorthy Draper is becuase she was so great at what she did…she was a housewife socialite that has such great taste that hoteliers and others asked her to do there business’ and it started from there.. She was infuenced by life and fashion and her rooms were fantastic….just take a look at her books above….
You can get them at Barnes and Noble, Borders or Amazon…. or if you dont want to buy, just go to your local MAIN library ( the biggest one, becuase they usually have the most selection) and get them….Or if they dont have theycan request it from another library that does ( all libraries do that)….
Good Luck to you and you should post your “Design Room” when you are done, I am sure that it will look GREAT!
