Living without being able to fly……. back to the good old days?
It’s very interesting to me, coming from a generation where air-flight wasn’t nearly as ‘usual’ as it is these days, and only the odd uni.student taking a gap year headed off into the wide blue, to see what chaos not having a flight available has made. We used to use ferries/car to travel across Europe and enjoyed it. Now we are all used to flying across the globe – so it’s immediately all different, all of a sudden.
Is this better? And will this spell loads of money, for the UK home-tourist industry this year with everybody having to stay home (once they get back home!!)?
And will the immediate decrease in air polution from planes (potentially good), be cancelled out by what this volcano is spewing out (potentially very bad)?
were the old days really that good?
shorter lifespans.
less communication and understanding of others.
